Endhaut.xyz is the result of a reflection about the extensive ecosystemic landscape alterations resulting from the Anthropocene. Since the beginnings of industrial revolution, and with the arrival of globalization, deforestation phenomena regarding primary forests have increased exponentially, resulting in fragmentation of the intact biomass, which is inevitably brought to a slow but certain secondary decay. Through the juxtaposition of micro and macro scale, an exanimate and mutilated tree figure acts as a guiding thread between the signs engraved within time by anthropogenic and biotic hand. A storm blanket driven by the world carbon dioxide flux reconfigures itself in the digital space, intersecting with joint perspective references. Body and soul overlap each other, creating a visual continuum unique for each day and country of vision, restoring memories of ephemerality within a simulacral environment marked by the ticking watch of death.
